Printing and Book Arts

In this class, students will learn to combine printmaking and bookbinding processes into unique works of art.  We will learn a variety of printmaking techniques from relief, monoprint to drypoint. All these processes can be combined to make interesting prints with dynamically diverse marks, shapes, images and colors.  After creating a series of different prints, we will learn how to combine the prints into various book formats. No previous printmaking or book binding experience required!
